Exxaro has been an HKLM client since 2005 when 4 different mining companies merged to form one of the largest South African-based diversified resources companies. At the time, we were approached to create a brand strategy and positioning, the new name and the identity. We further assisted Exxaro in launching and rolling out their new brand and created and delivered their internal brand engagement programme across all 9000 employees.

Finally, we designed and implemented their signage and way-finding systems, stakeholder communication, sponsorships as well as their corporate interiors and the curation of a proudly South African corporate art collection.

We have also developed and managed their annual reports and year-end and interim announcements, which is now on an app-based online publication.
