Sol Plaatje University

Part of the South African Government’s national imperative is to increase its country’s learning capacity in order to improve higher education standards in the country. More specifically, these standards would be increased by the creation of this new university in Kimberley in the Northern Cape Province, an area with very little higher education capacity.

HKLM created the brand identity. This included a brand audit and analysis, brand positioning, identity creation as well as collateral and signage design. We also managed the launch of the new university, alongside a campus architectural design competition.
